I first came across Rabindranath Tagore's writing while reading Elisabeth Kübler-Ross's On Death and Dying. Kübler-Ross headed her sections with short quotations from Tagore's works, and I found them poignant and haunting. I tracked down some of Tagore's poems, and he quickly became one of my favorite poets. The links shown present some of his poems. If you would like to learn more about Tagore's life, you can check out this Wikipedia article. |
